William Naas, age 90,of Oswego, IL, peacefully entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 26, 2022. He was born on August 22, 1931 to Herman and Theresa (Holl) Naas in Oak Park, IL.
Bill graduated from Valparaiso University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He worked at General Electric and later changed careers and was the president of LTD Trucking and Raum Warehouse in Chicago, IL.
On June 6, 1952, Bill married Natalie (Holden) and together they were the parents of four children.
During his life he enjoyed learning to fly small planes and was interested in sports cars. He and Natalie enjoyed biking,hiking and exploring the US by car and made several trips to Asia to visit family. But more importantly, Bill loved God and sought to serve and honor him in many ways. He was an elder at Westchester Bible Church and served on the missions committee. Later he was an elder at Marion HIlls Bible Church, taught adult Sunday School, and assisted the pastor in a variety of pastoral ministries.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Anita Korensky, and his wife Natalie. He is survived by his sister Irene Wilkinson, brothers H. James Naas and Robert Naas, his sons Bill (Laura) Naas and Scott (Beth) Naas and daughters Narci (Glenn) Herr and Sally (Scott) Sharik, 15 grandchildren, Joshua Herr, Janelle Herr, Jonathan Herr, Joel Herr, Sara (Adam) Robert, Stephen Sharik, Staci (Malachi) Amico, Samuel Sharik, Simeon Sharik, Corey Naas, Cameron Naas, Cassie Naas, Cody Naas, Daniel Naas and Haanah Naas, and great granddaughter Charlee Robert.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11am at Marion Hills Bible Church, 142 Plainfield Road, Darien, IL 60561.
Interment will be held privately at Clarendon HIlls Cemetery in Darien IL.
Memorial gifts may be directed to Marion Hills Bible Church.
