Mariamma Joseph, age 96, a resident of Des Plaines, passed away May 7, 2020, at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.  She was born January 2, 1924 in Kerala, India.

She is survived by her children: Sally George, Thankamma Joseph, Chacko Joseph (Valsa Chacko), Babu Joseph(Elsy Joseph), Benny Joseph(Sherly Joseph), Ammini Abraham(Abraham Kadamala), Sosamma Ninan(Puthenparambil P.Ninan), Usha Jacob(Padinjare J. Jacob); her grandchildren Shiby, Priya, Prem, Shibu, Mini, Shinu, Shiney, Manoj, Syney, Preethy, Shubha, Manu,  Priya, Prince, Nidhin, Niya, Kevin, Devin, Bensy, Baisy; and many great-grandchildren.

Due to the ongoing world health crisis, a private family service was held. Burial will be private at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
