Larry A. Antemann, age 73, a resident of Bartlett, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born April 29, 1948 in Chicago to Reinhard "Nick" & Mildred Antemann.

Larry married Mary Ann Kowalski on April 18, 1970 in Chicago. Larry sang in several Barber Shop Choruses for over 40 years. During which time, he won multiple international medals. Larry was a general contractor, successfully running Antemann Construction for 40 years.

Larry was always quick with a joke and made you wonder at the beginning of every conversation if this was real or a punchline. He was always there to help family and friends with any construction project, remodel or repair. When he wasn't helping others, you could find him in his office tinkering with his model airplanes and remote controlled cars. He was an avid aviation enthusiast and a member of the EAA.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Ann; his two sons Neal (Lisa) Antemann & Christopher (Claire) Antemann; two grandchildren Ryan & Benjamin; his mother Mildred Antemann & his step-mother Corinne Antemann; his sister Joyce (Charles) Smerick; and his niece & nephews Jonathan, Meredith & Sean Hart.

He was preceded in death by his father Reinhard "Nick".

A visitation will be held at Jubilee Bible Church, 900 Foster Ave., Medinah, IL 60157 , on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private at Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago.
