John Doyle Jr., age 45, a resident of Burbank for 16 years, died suddenly on Saturday, September 18, 2010. He was born in Oak Lawn on June 20, 1965.

John graduated from Argo High School in 1983. He worked for the CTA as a bus mechanic for 22 years. After his kids, he loved fishing and racing his dragster as well as watching his kids race since they were 8 years old. He loved to make people smile and enjoyed teasing and telling jokes. He also enjoyed cooking and barbecuing and his favorite movies were "The Ten Commandments," James Bond movies and "Christmas Vacation." John cared about people and was always helping others.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Susan, two children, John III and Danielle, his mother, Jean Doyle, two brothers, Mike and Jim, two sister, Linda and Heather, 10 nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Doyle.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Bethel Bible Church, 3225 W. 96th St. in Evergreen Park, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30. Interment will be held at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Alsip.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family care of Sue, John and Danielle.
