Joan Coffey, age 66, a resident of Joliet for 2 years and formerly a longtime resident of Country Club Hills, died at home on Friday, June 8. She was born in Chicago on October 1, 1940 to Vincent and Lillian Ferrante.

In 1964 she and her husband, Daniel Coffey, moved their family to Country Club Hills in order to have the best environment for their children. In recent years, she has been a full time caregiver for her granddaughter, Jennifer.

Joan is survived by two children, Frank (Cheryl) Coffey of Orland Park and Janet (Brian) O'Dell of Indiana, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Marie Stephens and Margaret Gash.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1972 and her parents.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 16 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway (183rd & Wolf Rd.) Orland Park, IL 60467, where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 am.

Interment will be held privately.
