James "Jim" Steven Czernek, age 48, or Roselle, IL, found his wings on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. He was born in Chicago on December 13, 1971.

Jim graduated from College of DuPage and received his HVAC Degree. He was married to Miriam G. Gonzalez on May 14, 2005. He was the son of Jim Czernek and Patricia Lee Scudder-Collins.
Jim was a loving husband to Miriam Gonzalez a fantastic father to his 10 children and grandfather of two. He was a man who loved his work and to him his customers "Comfort was his reward". He always helped those who were in need, he put others before himself, and was a humble man. He was always happy and proud of his children. He loved carnivals, Six Flags and going to Wisconsin Dells and floating in the lazy river. He was a member of New Life Community Church. He was a fantastic man and a friend to many.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam, ten children, Patricia Czernek, Emily Czernek, Joshua Czernek, Chloe Czernek, James Czernek, Steven Czernek, Thomas Czernek, Joseph Czernek, Dayona Gonzalez and Yara Gonzales-Aca, and his grandchildren, Dario, Roxana Aca. He was the brother of Michael (Kelly) Czernek, Anthony (Klaudia) Czernek, Janet (Marvin) Smith-Cheefus, Margaret Smith-Hernandez, Joyce Smith-McCreary, Diane (Tim) Wesley, Sam (Hayley) Czernek, and the late Frank. He is also the uncle of Stephanie, Jonathan, Mathew, Michael, Sammy, Brian, Feliccia, Guy Jr, Jeremy, Mila, Brandi, Cinthia, Jessica, Kathrin, Oscar, Andrea, Liam and many more.

Private services will be held at New Life Community Church and private interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, Illinois.
