Jayden Burns went to be with Jesus following complications from a complex congenital heart defect on October 21, 2009 at Advocate Hope Children's Hospital surrounded by her parents and family. She was born on August 31, 2009 in Oak Lawn, IL to Mark and Sandy Burns.

Jayden underwent a difficult heart surgery on September 8, 2009. Her long recovery included several challenges that her little body could no longer handle. Her healed body now rests in the arms of Jesus.

She is survived by her parents Mark and Sandy Burns, grandparents George and Debbie Burns and John and Wendy Fong; aunts Amanda Burns, Marilyn (Nathan) Crider, Terry Fong and Helen (Loren) Davis; uncle Michael Burns and cousins Maya Davis, Ava Davis, Leia Davis and David Crider.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, at 10:00 a.m. at Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway, Orland Park, IL. Interment is private.
