David J. Sundin, age 65, a resident of Schaumburg, Illinois, died January 19, 2013, in Itasca, Illinois. He was born March 27, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Sundin worked for 23 years for Door Systems and was a member of Medinah Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sundin; his son Samuel (Jennifer) Sundin, daughter Sarah Sundin; grandchildren Porter Sundin-Donahue, Benjamin, Joshua, and Esther Sundin; his brother William Sundin; brother-in-law Arne Abrahamsen; and sister-in-law Charlotte Sundin.

He was preceded in death by his parents C. William Sundin and Ruth (Dillon) Sundin; and his sister Charlene Abrahamsen

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at Medinah Baptist Church, 900 Foster Ave., Medinah, Illinois, 60157 and then again on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
