Carol Marcure, age 76, a resident of Stockton, IL, died Friday, December 14, 2012, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, IL. She was born May 31, 1936 in Chicago, IL.

Carol was an active member of Elk Grove Baptist Church. She was an avid scrapbook and card maker. She often donated boxes and boxes of her creations to the Armed Forces. She loved her family and her cats.

She is survived by her son, Timothy Marcure of Chicago, IL; her daughter, Cathie (Daniel Marrero) Napier of Stockton, IL; her grandson, Andrew Napier; and two great-granddaughters, Alyssa and Alahni.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Melissa Napier.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Elk Grove Baptist Church, 801 Beisner Road, in Elk Grove Village, IL. Interment will be private.
