Carol B. Gromke, age 93, a resident of Arlington Heights, IL passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. She was born February 19, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Gustav & Hulda Koeppe.

She enjoyed serving the Lord with her husband Roy in the widows ministry and the prayer ministry at their church. Together they built a florist business and real estate development company. Her family was her life. She was a constant encouragement and prayer warrior for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved Jesus and was looking forward to heaven and being reunited with family and friends. Carol could always be found buying way too many Christmas presents and handing out booklets about heaven to everyone around her. She will be remembered as a Godly woman who touched us all and trusted the Lord in all the ups and downs  of life.

She is survived by her children Melody (Russ) Berg,  Renee Deetjen and Roy II "Bud" (Janice) Gromke; her grandchildren Heather, Autumn, Heidi, Crystal, Dusty & Taylor; and 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy and their daughter Dawn.

A private graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
